Description
Go beyond the traditional understanding of the Holy Trinity with this new exploration from Sr Anne Marie Mongoven on the relationship between humankind and the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This book delves into the mysteries of the Trinity through investigation of dynamic literary images and reveals what the love between the Holy Trinity can teach us about loving each other and ourselves.
An interesting read, it explores the living font of all love, the Holy Trinity. The author writes about a passionate and fruitful God whose creativity in loving brings all that is into existence. It examines the nature of Trinitarian relationships and the loving relationship of the Trinity with humankind and with all of creation. The book is designed to be read by anybody who seeks a fresh contemporary understanding of this central Mystery of Christianity.
In this little gem – finished shortly before she died – Anne Marie Mongoven unpacks what the Trinitarian relationships within the divine mystery mean in our lives. She wrote her final book in the hope the reader would ‘love more fully, love God, love your neighbour, love yourself, love the universe and everything in it’. This pastorally sensitive book succeeds in realising her hope. – Steven Privett, S.J., President Emeritus, San Francisco University
