This little book is meant for everyone who wishes to read it. It isn’t written to convince you about anything. It is a book to have by your side, in your bag, in your pocket or at your bedside. Pick it up and put it down as you please.
It is not a book to be read sequentially. It is not about bringing you new ideas that you might play around with, analyse or criticise.
Read the reflections and aphorisms in your own way and in your own time. Allow them to speak to your heart; to create a silence within you; to reveal their message to you; to draw you ever more deeply into the journey of life.
It is simply intended that this little book will bring you into a deeper part of your being, the still point where Thomas Merton has said: “God has written his name on us.”
