Praying at Easter takes as its root the gospel readings of the Season of Easter in the Roman Missal. With a prayer, repeated for each day of a week, and a reflection, author Donal Neary SJ links the gospel with elements of faith and prayer, with a look at the implications of the message and love of the risen Lord in everyday life. Called to be followers of the risen Lord, in the ordinary of life we become ‘ministers of the resurrection’ among the community of Jesus Christ. This book of Easter time is a good way of continuing the great season of Easter with five or ten minutes of prayer each day. Donal Neary’s booklets on Lent, Easter and Advent have proved popular with Columba readers over many years. This Praying at Easter offers new material for each day.
